If you are having a hard time navigating the complicated logistics and feelings associated with a loved one who is ailing or who has died, The Parmenter Foundation offers expert, compassionate end-of-life and bereavement guidance with licensed social worker, Niki Pugach. Niki is accessible to speak with you, via phone or Zoom, to help you work through these challenges and refer you to additional services that may be beneficial.
A Parmenter trustee since 2021, Niki Pugach has had a lifelong passion for end-of-life care. She began her work in 1993 in an adult daycare setting, and then moved into roles facilitating support groups for people with cancer and their family members. After 15 years, she transitioned into hospice care, providing social work services in MetroWest hospice facilities, most recently at Good Shepherd Community Care in Newton, MA. Niki received a Master of Social Work from Simmons School of Social Work in 1982.
